WHAT SHOULD I/WE WEAR?
Outfits are one of the easiest aspects of your session to overthink. I recommend that you stick to a neutral color palette. These colors consist of white, cream, taupe, tan, grey, and blush tones.
After your consultation and confirmed booking, I will send over my style guide and client closet options. The guide has links to some my favorite places to source outfits! I have also included some “Do’s and Don’ts” for styling yourself and your family.
How far in advance should i book my session?
It is best to get scheduled as soon as you can. This gives us time to connect and work out the details of your session. For maternity sessions, I advise getting on the schedule as soon as possible. The best time for a maternity session is typically between 28-32 weeks. The last weeks closer to your due date can be uncomfortable. I want to make sure you are as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
I’m not photogenic, can you make me look like a model?
There is no such thing as photogenic! You are one of a kind and perfect just as you are, so no need to feel awkward. As your professional photographer, I am here to offer flattering poses and wardrobe guidance to ensure that you look AND feel your best. Basic retouching is included with each session. This includes temporary blemishes and reasonable requests. I do not typically remove scars, moles, or tattoos.
Why is there a deposit required to book?
A deposit reserves your session date and time.
You can reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the session date and your deposit will move to your new session date. But, if you cancel your session and do not reschedule, you forfeit your deposit. Cancellations and rescheduling must be submitted 24 hours before your session time. If you don’t show up for your appointment or you are more than 15 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you must reschedule a new appointment and pay a new deposit. Let me know of any schedule changes or issues as soon as you can and I will try to be flexible and accommodate your needs.
when will my gallery be available to view?
A sneak peak of your gallery will be available online within 48 hours. It takes me 2-4 weeks from your session date to edit and retouch your images. Once, everything is good to go, we will meet in person or via zoom to view your slideshow. This will be your opportunity to see the images and select your favorites. Once your full gallery is available, you will receive a link to your non-watermarked gallery of edited high resolution digital files in color (and black & white with select packages) for printing and sharing to social media!
