When will I get to view the images?
A sneak peak of your gallery will be available online within 48 hours. Your full gallery of watermarked images will be available for viewing within 2-3 weeks. Once you have selected your favorite images, you will receive a link to your non-watermarked gallery of edited high resolution digital files in color and black & white for printing and sharing to social media!
What should I wear/how do I prepare for my session?
I recommend that you stick to a neutral color paletter. These colors consist of white, cream, taupe, tan, grey, and blush tones.
You are more than welcome to send me inspiration photos or pinterest links of outfits you like and I can help you locate pieces for your session.
You will also have access to my client wardrobe and style guide once you’re officially booked!
What is the best time for maternity portraits?
These sessions are typically between 28-32 weeks. The last weeks closer to your due date can be uncomfortable. I want to make sure you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
A deposit reserves your session date and time.
You can reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the session date and your deposit will move to your new session date. But, if you cancel your session and do not reschedule, you forfeit your deposit. Cancellations and rescheduling must be submitted 24 hours before your session time. If you don’t show up for your appointment or you are more than 15 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you must reschedule a new appointment and pay a new deposit. Let me know of any schedule changes or issues as soon as you can and I will try to be flexible and accommodate your needs.
What is a typical session like?
Sessions with James Visuals are very relaxed. I like to go with the flow and capture candid moments. Don’t stress, if posing or prompts are needed, I’ve got ya covered.
